These electrical workers are trying to fix a street lamp on Pyongyang’s streets with the help of a super old vehicle. Most of the city is known to operate on an ‘alternative suspension of electricity supply system’ which means that there is never power in the whole city at the same time. Instead, this system functions like a rotating blackout – a string of buildings get power only another string to lose power at the same time. And during the blackout times no heat is available.
