North Sentinel Island
The final area on our list, is quite unique as it has nothing to do with geographic or military components, it’s a cultural limitation. This island is home to roughly 400 natives and is completely isolated. Declaring this island off limits, the Indian government took this action for safety and preservation purposes. To comment more on safety, it is said that the natives are very strict towards outsiders and will express hostility (most times fatal) towards anyone who isn’t local to their Island. For anyone brave enough to sale to this island, they will be met with a barrage of arrows and rocks. On top of that, there is also the threat of prosecution from the Indian Government. This just like our other slides, shows many of the places restricted to the public. Perhaps thinking about these places can allow us to do more research on what we think we know.
