Crystal Cave of Naica

Known to be the cave home to the largest crystals in the world, this Giant crystal cave, is in Chihuahua, Mexico. The discovery of this cave was made in the year 2000 by miners seeking to excavate a new tunnel. Shaped like a horseshoe, this combination of stalactites, and stalagmites, form an arch-like cavity with temperatures averaging 60 degrees Celsius. To top that off, with humidities that are 90% and over. Hard to believe that this cave which looks like it is shooting ice, can get so hot. To be frank, a person can only go in the cave for about 10 minutes, and this is including the heat pumping efforts of the mining company. Were those efforts not present, you’d literally be in hell on earth.
