This reminds me of the cave of wonders from the Disney Movie, “Aladdin”. Based in Colorado thisĀ  secretive cave is known as the Cheyenne Mountain Complex. It is a nuclear bunker as well as a military structure, home to the United States Space, the Aerospace Defense, the Air Force, and the Federal Emergency Management Command systems. About 200 feet underground, protection is its policy being virtually impenetrable to the natural elements. This configuration is self-sustaining having its own power and water resources readily available. Being well architecture, it has the ability to withstand explosions, and radioactivity. Though restricted to public access, perhaps a nuclear explosion will have the U.S. government using this area as a means of protection for its citizens.
